Description of the job

For Airbus CyberSecurity within the CyberSecurity Solutions Centre based in Elancourt and Toulouse, we are looking for a CyberSecurity SOC Architect (m/f).

Within the Security Event Management team, working on the Cyber Defence solutions, your mission will be to design Cyber Defence solutions to fit customer expectations.

Tasks & accountabilities

  • Responding to tender, sales support, design and implementation phases within project
  • Defining and designing the best technical solution reaching quality, cost and time for customer expectations, in association with the Cyber Defence technical expert
  • Setting-up the project organisation and to define technical profiles for the response, in association with the bid manager
  • Acting as expert in cyber defence activities, and building of substantial experience in design, implementation and validation phases for security monitoring projects (SIEM architecture design, IDSP deployment, etc.)

The role will provide an opportunity to gain a very good knowledge of the company and its processes and therefore, an occasion for greater personal development.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of progressive systems engineering experience, including definition, design, implementation, validation and production
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position and ISO27001certification
  • Project Management skills
  • Experience in working in a multi-national environment is a must
  • Strong knowledge of Cyber Defence products: IDS/IPS Log Management System, SIEM, Vulnerability scanner, APT detection tools, etc.
  • Knowledge in TETRA or TETRAPOL system would be a plus
  • Knowledge of IT systems
  • Basic knowledge in ITIL v3
  • Skills in Linux and Windows solution
  • Experience in setting up and running a service centre
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Negotiation level in French and English
