Purpose of the job
Support the Cyber Threat Intelligence team. Work under supervision to proactively identify and analyze potential cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and risks that could affect a major institutional agency from the aviation sector.
Main accountabilities
Collect, analyze and interpret various sources of threat intelligence.
This would include the ability to:
- Operate and maintain the Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP),
- Maintain the MISP platform,
- Draft and distribute CTI reports,
- Communicate CTI findings and disseminate awareness through the agency.
Specific accountabilities
- Cyber Threat Intelligence gathering,
- Threat monitoring and analysis,
- Threat hunting,
- Collaboration and reporting (within and outside the agency),
- Security awareness and education,
- Vulnerability assessment (if needed).
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or any related field,
- Professional certifications welcome but not essential,
- Ability in using threat intelligence platforms and tools for data collection and analysis,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Good knowledge of cyber threats, attack vectors, and cyber-attack lifecycle,
- Solid written and verbal communication skills for creating reports and delivering presentations,
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Experience
1-2 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cyber threat intelligence.
