Job Description

We’re looking for enthusiastic engineers to work with us. The position is based in Paris, France where you will be one of the first team members of Data Theorem’s brand new office there. The work atmosphere will be very relaxed but your work and contributions will have a tremendous *and* direct impact on the company. 

The primary responsibility for this position will be to analyze iOS, Android, and Windows mobile applications for privacy/security issues and to develop software on existing products and tools.

  • Based on interest and the company’s needs at the time, additional responsibilities will include:
  • Design and develop defensive code and libraries on the iOS, Android or Windows phone platforms for public consumption.
  • Contribute to Data Theorem’s security scanning technology for iOS, Android and Windows phone.
  • Contribute to Data Theorem’s internal and external web APIs and sites.
  • Publish tools, whitepapers and present at conferences. 

Required Experience

Master’s Degree In Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Qualifications

You should have significant experience in one of the following:

  • Android development, Java
  • iOS development, Objective-C
  • Windows Phone development, C#
  • Python

Additionally, any of the following will give you bonus points:

  • One to four years of work experience
  • Web development
  • Google App Engine, Cloud Endpoints, NDB Datastore
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript and client-side frameworks (jquery, extjs, etc.)
  • Penetration testing (web, mobile) and application security
  • Reverse engineering
  • Existing tools, whitepapers, other publications
